Lately, laptops have increasingly come in for service more than desktop computers. You should be aware that laptops are generally more expensive to service because each one is designed differently from all others. Therefore, parts cost more to order from the manufacturer. Laptops also require more time for parts to be shipped as they are not stocked by anybody locally. Laptops are not more difficult to service, they're just smaller.
