receive information. Although email has not replaced the fax machine,
it has reduced our reliance on paper documents. There are options
available for your email needs. - Hosted email - your
website hosting company can usually manage your email on the same
package. The downside is that most businesses cannot easily add and
remove users as the business expands or changes staff.
- Self-hosted email - Gives you more control over aspects of your email because you run the server. However,
you also shoulder the responsibility of backing up and managing the hardware. - Managed
solutions - Google Apps can combine the ease of use of running your own
email accounts without the burden of maintaining an email server. This
is my preferred solution.
